It took 21.5 hours of anticipation and preparation and 30 minutes for all of the eagar students to flood into the Dining Commons, but Porchfest 2009 began-30 minutes late. But it was well worth the wait.
Acts featured everyone from graduating seniors to freshmen; even Dr. Patton got in on the action with a dramatic reading of "Just Dance" by Lady GaGa.
Chris Thomas and Nick Everett hosted the 28th annual Porchfest that featured many returning acts and hilarious new ones that pleased a packed out Dining Commons. And our reporters were there taking hundreds of photos and providing real-time coverage on Twitter. Check out crusaderonline.com for more photos and video of the event.

Here are some favorite acts from this year's porchfest:
Lauren Nadrowski- "Relational Melody" (Liz Sutton, David Blackburn, Erin Rotuno)

Brendan Lay- "Ephram & Erin"

Mitchell Koyl- "1st video of Ormston being raided"

Liz Sutton- "Treble Clefs" (Kelly Ashton, Stephen Clark, Walter Hast)

Kelly Ashton- "Dramatic Reading of 'Just Dance'" ( Dr. Patton)

Erin Piper- "The environmentalist" (both)

Aaron Noble- "Rick-roll'd" John Tippen & Geoff Bruggen

Thanks for posting this. We were bummed to have missed it this year, but are glad to have at least seen bits and pieces here.
